Les jours se suivent et ne se ressemblent pas. A Saint Pierre Quiberon où se joue le championnat d’Europe Tornado 2024, le vent a joué avec les nerfs du Comité de course. 2 heures et demi de retard mais des conditions de vent à suivre très agréables entre 5 et 10 noeuds de vent pour deux manches à suivre.
Les Français Yohan Trecul et Thomas Ferrand ouvrent le bal avec une première victoire mais la concurrence est aux aguets avec une victoire à suivre des Belges Jean et Marie Coppens.
Et oui, le Tornado pratique la mixité depuis longtemps et dans ces conditions les équipages mixtes font merveille.
On retrouve ainsi à l’issue de cette première journée derrière Johann et Thomas, les Tchèques Zdenek Pavlis et Klara Pavliseva. (Article François Salle)

One day follows another and no two are alike. In Saint Pierre Quiberon, where the European Tornado 2024 Championship is being held, the wind has been playing with the nerves of the Race Committee. Two and a half hours late, but very pleasant wind conditions between 5 and 10 knots for two rounds to follow closely.
Yohan Trecul and Thomas Ferrand (France) got the ball rolling with their first win, but the competition was on the lookout with a victory to follow for Belgium’s Jean and Marie Coppens.
Yes, the Tornado has been a mixed race for a long time, and in these conditions mixed crews work wonders.
